Mike Love w/ Samites- “Jahwakening” –

So Mike and Samites play O’Tools together every Thursday and I have been asking them to stop by and record. Mike has loads of incredible songs not yet released and they were on their way to a gig at Banzai Sushi in Haleiwa, so they stopped by and shared this. With this song both Mike and Sam start by live recording a loop through the mixer board, Mike plays the bass line with an octave pedal and Sam lays down the groove on his Cajon. They then layer off of that and do their magic. Hope you enjoy, we plan on releasing more live footage leading up to the release of -The Mike Love Band- first album later this year.
