Senica Da Misfit – Poetic Ruckus

“Poetic Ruckus”is arguably the greatest work to date released by Senica Da Misfit. The 15 track album boast top caliber lyricism over vintage rugged boombap beats reminiscent of the early 90’s but sonically rivals today’s current sound. Senica lyrically dives right into the album intro titled “PR Campaign” stating “My feet planted on the ground but I’m extra fly, peep the Man of God serving you the Devils pie”. He reminds you that witty word play and conceptual songs can be combined while still delivering compelling stories from the ink pen of a true emcee. The album is Speer headed by DJ Darkfada and Senica produced by Neckbrace Productions. Senica collaborates with Treach from Naughty by Nature, Doitall from Lords of the Underground and El Da Sensei from Artifacts taking full advantage on each track with his New Jersey brethren. His lead single “Straight from the Grain” featuring Mr. Cream from Gilla House is a certified Street Banger that will get anyone out of there seats within a 100 mile radius. It comes in with the PLO Style line from Method Man sampled “Straight from the Grain I be giving you the Pain” and escalates to hip hop greatness from there. The album tells a story from beginning to end about family ties, police brutality, poverty and the love for Hip Hop. This project will easily be placed in the timeless category for any music enthusiast that loves honesty and artist with integrity. This project sounds like nothing out today and is in a lane of its own.
