Indeed, this is possible! The count of views may decelerate or appear to be stagnant as we authenticate their legitimacy (ensuring they’re from actual humans and not automated programs). This process is integral to our system’s operation to guarantee accurate view counting.
Apologies for the inconvenience! While video processing usually doesn’t exceed a few hours, there could be several reasons why your video is stuck in the upload process:
- File Size: If the file is excessively large, it might take an extended period to upload. A potential solution is to encode your videos in one of the recommended formats. For instance, uploading a 1GB video file with an uplink speed of 512kbps might take over 4 hours.
- Internet Connection: A slow or unstable internet connection can hinder video uploads. Additionally, uploading during peak hours might cause delays. A quick tip: run a speed test to diagnose if your internet connection is affecting the upload speed.
- Resolution: Videos with higher resolution can take longer to upload. Be aware that lengthy videos with high resolution and FPS (for example, 1080p@60fps and 4k@60fps) may require more time to upload and process. You can still upload your video even if the higher quality resolutions are still processing. These resolutions will be available on your video once processing is complete. Alternatively, you can upload your video as unlisted and wait for all resolutions to finish processing before publishing to your subscribers.
