Homemade Hot Sauce – make hot sauce – hot sauce recipe – cayenne
I love hot sauce, but unfortunately, store bought stuff most of the time comes loaded with artificial preservatives and chemicals or a hefty price tag. To make a good Chile hot sauce is very simple thankfully. That is why I thought it would be a good idea to teach you guys how to make it, then you can have hot sauce fresh all year to put on all your spicy food lunch and dinner recipes. This Homemade hot sauce Recipe is very easy and makes a delicious hot sauce at a fraction of the cost of the traditional stuff from the store. The main principle is to ferment the cayenne or whatever pepper you have on hand by preserving them in a salt water brine. You can leave it anywhere from 1 week to a few months in the brine depending on how you want the finished product to taste. This is can also be made into a raw vegan recipe by skipping the cooking step at the end.
