Charis Jones – Bood Up Remix| Heartstrong

Charis Jones is a native Washingtonian Rnb Singer who is quickly making her own lane musically. Known for her multi-genre infused vocals; she has been gently described as a musical jukebox. Just recently, she was seen on Great Day Washington (WUSA 9) and Good Morning Washington (ABC 7) performing her single You’re My Baby off her EP entitled “Introducing Miss Jones.” The same song along with her remix of Chance The Rapper’s “No Problem” is now on rotation on Sirius XM Heart and Soul. In 2017, she created I.A.G. Radio Show that provides independent artists with a welcoming and positive platform to share their artistry. Ms. Jones is a voice that the entire world needs to hear. As soon, as you hear her, you too, will fall in love and agree! But the best thing yet to come, her new hit single Boo’d Up Remix has been on rotation for well over a month on WPGC 95.5FM, and just a few weeks ago, she kicked off the UniverSoul Circus performing it live Under the Big Top.

History of #Boodupremix:
At the beginning of June 2018, Charis released a song entitled “Boo’d Up Remix,” which is a Washington, DC hometown twist to Ella Mai’s Boo’d Up.

The song has been in rotation on WPGC 95.5fm for well over a month now, and the record was broken by @DJ Reddz on DJ Flexx’s Show during the #Driveat5. The song was also stamped by EZ Street radio personality on WHUR 96.3fm, and Hosea Williams, Host of the Heartbeat Conga Hour (gogo king), and most recently by DJ Dirty Rico of Majic 102.3FM. Since then, it has been high in demand; and is currently being spun in Miami, Houston, Nashville, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Chicago, to name a few.

Just two months ago, Charis performed at the Juneteenth Festival, where I was the only solo artist with a band along side Dupont Brass, Spur of The Moment and The Chuck Brown Band.
