Bulgur Salad – homemade vegan recipes – healthy recipe channel – summer recipe – vegan meal prep
This was my first time making Bulgur Salad or working with Bulgur in general as an ingredient. I am pretty adventurous when I go food shopping and I am always looking for new ingredients. I had been on a grain discovery kick for a bit and wanted to make a vegan summer recipe since I had not done any vegan meal prep or vegan healthy recipe for quite a while. While looking through the grains I found Bulgur, which is a form of cracked wheat berries. A bit more coarse than Semolina. It cooks very fast by just adding boiling whater and letting it sit. I was surprised at how quickly it cooks and really enjoyed working with it and the taste and texture it brought to this Salad.
