AdriD’s start in professional music came on the heels of his third place win in the 2014 Jamaica Gospel Song Competition produced by the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC).
The Gospel scene was enjoyable and had its glory days, however Adri felt there was more to achieve in the business of music but the Gospel label would be too much of a shell and a limit so he took some time away to rebrand.
Adri’D is reinventing himself, and today is on the verge of making his mark as a Caribbean Pop/ Alternative Fusion singer.
Adri’s musical inspirations are drawn from greats like; Prince, Bryson Tiller, Bj the Chicago kid, Dexta Daps and Bob Marley just to name a few. Bringing a soulful and more softer side to dancehall while fusing other musical genres and creating a unique sound for the next generation of music lovers.
